High-temperature Bearings
01

Overview

A high-temperature bearing is not simply a standard bearing filled with hotter-running grease. Special internal clearance, metallic shields, temperature-resistant lubricants, or graphite-based dry lubrication and cages may be used. Certain dedicated executions are rated up to +350°C, but allowable temperature, speed, and load must always be confirmed from the exact manufacturer's datasheet.
