Overview

O-rings, gaskets, diaphragms, bumpers, bellows, and moulded rubber parts are selected by medium, pressure, temperature, compression set, wear, and outdoor exposure. EPDM is common for water, steam, and weather; NBR for many oil and fuel duties; and FKM for higher temperatures and demanding chemicals, subject to final compatibility review.
